Why We See You Isn’t a Soup Kitchen

  • Home Cooked Meals

Each week, our meals are cooked by loving hands around the county. On the last Tuesday of the month, we have a delicious BBQ!

  • Restaurant-Style Dinner Party

True to the dinner party / restaurant vibe we are cultivating, we have our space set up like a restaurant. The guests get to relax as we serve them. We’ve heard quite often that we are their favorite restaurant!

  • Hygiene Station

We have heard from our friends experiencing homelessness that getting clean is a challenge. We have a complete hygiene station where our guests can get all items they need. The items include basic toiletries and extend to jewelry, sunglasses…anything we receive via donations!

  • Coffee Bar

What is better than a nice hot cup of coffee or tea after a long day? We love to give our guests the full coffee bar experience. We have flavored syrups, creamers, quality coffee, tea, hot chocolate and so much more!

  • Live Music

The We See You House Band is comprised of professional musicians, some of which have played across the United States! The leader of the band said We See You is “the best thing he’s ever done”! They play a mixture of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s music and Christian songs. They are a favorite with our guests!

  • Raffle Prizes

We always have fabulous raffle prizes! This is one of the guests’ favorite activities. Each raffle prize includes snacks, practical items and often a scratcher or a fast food gift card!

  • Birthday Celebrations

Our passion is to make our guest feel seen and loved. This is why we celebrate everyone’s birthdays individually.
Each guest receives a birthday card signed by the WSY Team, a Starbucks gift card, a gift bag stuffed with presents, and an individual birthday song from our House Band! There is nothing quite like the tears of happiness as we sing “Happy Birthday” to a guest.
It is an honor to make their day a little better!

  • Personal Shopping

Sometimes our guests come in with clothing needs. Thanks to donations, we are able to meet them! We come to each table and take their clothing order, much like a personal shopper at Nordstrom. We love to give our guests the 5-star treatment.

  • Ministry Team

Prayer & conversation go a long way and we have a special team to minister to those in need.
